Month in Review: July 2022
It's a very quick monthly review for me for the month of July as I spent this month having a break from work and just spending it as much as possible with loved ones. I did some side project work (more on this next month!) related to accessibility so I'll talk about that in my August's monthly review.
Personal Development
🏋🏻♀️ I've kept up with my goal of hitting 10,000 steps and more. There was a day though where I've only managed to hit 1k steps! 🙃

📚 This month, I finished No Hard Feelings: Emotions at Work and How They Help Us Succeed by Liz Fosslien and Mollie West Duffy. I first saw this book from one of Tristan Lombard's tweets and I'm so glad I bought it! It's such a good read and provided a lot of great examples on why it's okay to show emotions at work. I particularly love the visuals inside the book.
🎧 Consistently listened to my daily podcast episodes.
✍🏼 I did lots of writing this month! I felt like I wrote a book in some ways. More about what I wrote and why I did it on my next monthly review.
July Favourites
Filipino feast with friends. We cooked chicken afritada, bicol express and lumpiang gulay. My friends bought squid adobo, shrimp cake, pansit and other Filipino dishes.
Trip to Venice, Italy. I had the best penne arrabiata!
Had my third tattoo done. It was a combination of flowers, moon and arrow (sagittarius inspired).
Finally had floorboards installed in the living room!
Trip to Durdle Door with family
Chessington World of Adventures with Gabby
Finally bought a portable air conditioning unit! It's my favourite purchase so far this year.
